We are requesting that ALL guests silence and put away their phones for the entire duration of the ceremony. Our wish is for everyone to be present with us in prayer. If you see another guest taking pictures, please gently and respectfully remind them of this request.
Yes! For the ceremony, please park in the church's parking garage (located on the ground level of the building). For the reception, there is a large parking lot behind the manor. If you drive straight up the hill when you enter the premises of the venue, it will be on your right.

We would prefer all guests RSVP by July 31st so that we have an adequate amount of time to get all of our event details in order based on the number of people who will join us in our celebration.
We have planned for our reception to be our close friends and family so while we aren't extending invites to plus-ones, we're very excited to have you attend and get to know others at this gathering.
We encourage you to look up some videos of Coptic Orthodox Crowning Ceremonies, they are quite beautiful. You can expect to hear cymbals played and hymns sung as the bride walks down the aisle. During the ceremony, Matthew and Carol will be crowned by their priest. The ceremony will be in English and our priest will explain the major symbolic aspects of the ceremony to our guests.
