A passport and a Visa is needed to enter India.

The best option in getting to India would be taking a flight with 
a connection in Germany or London. This helps to break the travel time up. 
Travelers have an option to fly to Delhi and then it is another hour connecting flight to Chandigarh, followed by an hour drive to Patiala. 

We are working on getting a hotel block and more accommodation information is to come!
