The only member of this wedding party who has known Sukhada since her birth! ;-) Sukhada's elder sister Sampada always made sure she got home on time after school and took care of her anytime their parents were busy. She lives in Hyderabad now with her amazing husband, Sandeep, and two kids (twins!), Shravya and Shreehan.

Eric's cousin Glenn is a master of many languages and musical styles. During Eric's road trip visits, they would exchange the weirdest books and music they could find and compare how their Dads reacted. Now they compare notes from their travels in Asia.

Shirin and Sukhada met at Sierra Club's Backpacking class in 2018. They quickly bonded planning a trip together for the class alumni. Unfortunately, didn't get to go on that trip together that summer. But they have shared a ton of memories on the trails in the Sierras since then! Shirin is definitely the friend you want by your side in the wilderness.

Eric and Ian went through college physics together and helped each other through tough days of differential equations and electrodynamics. Nearly driven crazy by math, they both got through it and have thrived in scientific research and development. Their boy band career, however, was less successful.

Urmila and Sukhada have been friends since they were couple of naive teenage girls back in Mumbai. Sharing all the fun times that their super strict yet cool college had to offer, years just flew by as they navigated final exams, on-campus placements, and graduate school in the US. And of course, they shared a great interest in astronomy!

Close companions and occasional housemates in Texas, Sven and Eric took their adopted city's motto "Keep Austin Weird" to heart. From nearly disastrous camping trips and boat parties, to epic karaoke nights and crazy festivals, they kept each other grounded through some wild times.

Coming back from a Tahoe trip, Eric introduced Sukhada to his brother Mark and his then-fiance Vanessa, and gosh, they clicked! Sukhada's first reaction to Eric was, "I think I can hang out with her without you and Mark being in picture...like we could be friends!" A true force of nature, no one could ask for a better sister-in-law. Plus they have fun picking on the boys together! ;-)
