They were both in high school, Alex was a freshman and Elizabeth was a sophomore. They had first met in German class that year and when they first saw each other it was instant chemistry. They became best friends instantly and became closer each day. They never acted on how we felt because our friendship meant too much to them. As all relationships and friendships do, they parted for a little bit after Elizabeth graduated high school. But, in September 2020, a mutual best friend got them talking again and their friendship picked up where it left off. In December of 2020 they finally made it official after seven years of waiting.
