Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Click on the Registry page to choose from one of our fundraisers. We have all we need but financial contributions would be a huge help! They are set up through Venmo but if you don't have an account, please let us know and we can make arrangements. Zelle can be another option to one of our phone numbers.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! We invite you to join in the wedding's color palette by wearing a shade of blue. Wear semi-formal, cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, jackets and slacks. Please keep in mind this is a summer wedding so make sure your outfit is comfortable in the Houston heat.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:30pm. Please arrive by 4:00pm the latest with enough time to find parking. Please note, the venue is downtown and our wedding falls on the 4th of July holiday. Plan ahead for potential street closures and traffic. Please don't be late.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or after party?

Answer

Brasserie Du Parc has several parking options available. The 3rd floor of the parking garage has "Reserved for One Park Place Guests Only" spaces available. Look for those signs. Press the concierge button at the elevator for access to the 1st floor. Brasserie Du Parc also offers Valet. Street parking is available at Discovery Green Park and there is a parking lot available across the street for a fee. POST is a cashless site. Hourly parking rates apply. Please pay your parking fee online (keep your license plate number handy). You will have 30 min to exit after your payment. Parking fee is based on the time your vehicle leaves the exit gate.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We are including kids on our guest list for the ceremony and reception. Please follow the RSVP form to confirm. The after party will take place at POST for the firework show and this event is open for all ages (free for kids under 5).

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unless they were invited, please do not bring a plus one. This is going to be a small, intimate wedding with close friends and family only. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Can I give a speech at the wedding?

Answer

Yes please! We would be honored if you would like to share a few words on our special day. We will have an open mic during dinner and everyone is welcome to give their speech while we share a meal together.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

After dinner, we'll continue celebrating at POST for an incredible rooftop view of Houston's firework show "FREEDOM OVER TEXAS". This event is open for all ages (free for kids under 5). They will have live DJ's, multiple bars on the roof and more! Please follow the link to purchase tickets: https://www.posthtx.com/event/4th-of-july-celeberation *All attendees must purchase tickets in advance.

Question

Is there an Open Bar?

Answer

Please note, guests will be responsible for covering the cost of their own alcoholic beverages at the bar. B.Y.O.B. is not an option at Brasserie Du Parc. Thank you for understanding.
