Olivia and Jesse first met when they were just 11 years old! While they hardly became “sixth-grade sweethearts”, both claim to have felt a certain something, perhaps a spark, even then. But they’d have to wait for quite some time… a decade to be exact… to feel that spark again.

The Spring of 2020 marked their reintroduction. Due to the global pandemic, an abundance of free time, and unlimited internet access, the young singles were able to rediscover each other on Instagram. Despite the physical distance separating Jesse in Northern California and Olivia in Southern California, their mutual interest blossomed. What commenced as online messages evolved into marathon phone calls that lasted 'til the break of dawn. Their admiration for each other grew and grew, as did their friendship (and the Chamberlain Family’s landline phone bills). Soon distance couldn’t keep these two apart any longer, and their relationship began. The two lovebirds fell for each other quickly as their romance, friendship, and connection with one another's families and loved ones grew with each passing day. Soon they moved into together, adopted their first dog, and moved back to SoCal… well, even a fool could see where this was going!

Fast forward to Christmas Eve of 2022. Olivia was led to believe she was headed north to contribute to the Chamberlain family's Christmas card collection. After getting dressed for the occasion, a drive to Marin county, and what appeared to be ordinary photo-taking with a seemingly calm Jesse…the last thing Olivia expected happened: Jesse dropped onto one knee and asked for her hand in marriage. Her response was immediate— a smiling, tear-soaked, quick and obvious “YES!” sealed the deal. The celebration that followed - filled with wine, food, stories, and love - marked the inception of a new chapter for the couple, who rumor has it refer to it as “the best day of their lives”... so far! The two are now bliss-filled and excited for what the next chapters have in store.
