You can drive, of course, but if you are worried about parking or are from out of town and don't want to deal with Chicago parking (understandable), we would recommend using Uber, Lyft, or a Taxi. For guests staying in the Lincoln Park area, walking might be the most convenient and enjoyable option. The neighborhood is pedestrian-friendly, and walking allows guests to explore the charming streets and local shops. Public transportation is also widely available, including CTA trains and busses. The closest red line station is the North/Clybourn stop. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the venue. The closest brown line station is the Armitage stop, which is about a 12-minute walk from the venue. The purple line also stops at this station. The CTA also has busses that stop near the venue. Bus 8 (Halsted) and Bus 73 (Armitage) both stop at Halsted & Armitage, about a 3-minute walk to the gallery.
Parking near the venue on a Friday night can be a bit challenging due to the busy nature of the neighborhood. There is limited public parking available in the lot directly next door to the venue. Metered street parking is also available on many of the streets around the venue. Make sure to check the signs for any restrictions and the time limits. Use the ParkChicago app to pay for metered parking and to extend your time if needed. Additionally, there are various parking garages and lots in the area. Closest Parking: Lincoln Commons Parking Garage Convenient Alternatives: New City Parking Garage, Standard Parking - North Avenue Collection Street Parking: Check metered and residential options Parking Apps: SpotHero, ParkWhiz
