Jared and I met our sophomore year of High School in FFA class. Jared and I had been friends for about 3 years before we originally started dating. One year while we were friends I posted a picture of the beach in Destin Florida and captioned it with "Im gonna get married here one day" and Jared commented on it and said "I got you". At first I was just thinking oh he is too funny and looking back on it now it was so perfect. Our senior year during FFA we started hanging out with our friend group and eventually started hanging out one on one more often. After weeks of us becoming best friends we started developing feelings for each other where Jared waited until the 7th day of March to ask me to be his girlfriend because he knew 7 was my favorite number. Ever since then Jared and I have been inseparable and have been happily together for 5 and a half years.

On the week before my 23rd birthday Jared organized a birthday dinner for me at Del Friscos in Hughes Landing with all of my friends and family. After dinner Jared took me for a walk down the boardwalk of the lake to look at the lights and the water. When we came up on this curve he explained to me how much I meant to him and how happy Ive made him for the past 5 and a half years. He then got on one knee where he asked me if I would continue to make him happy for the rest of our lives. I immediately said "YES" where I was in such shock I also had to ask "Do I put the ring on now?" lol. After I put on the ring he stood up and hugged me and told me "We drew a crowd". I turned around and saw all of my friends, family, and parents running up to us and hugging us.
