Nothing is prettier than Massachusetts in the fall, a three way tie for second is Massachusetts in the summer, spring and winter.  But as you will be here in the fall, we will suggest some autumnal activities.

This is a great local winery near the greatest little town in America, Lancaster.

Central Massachusetts is the birthplace of Johnny Appleseed and, therefore, is full of a lot of wonderful apple orchards.  We recommend Lancaster's own - George Hill Orchards.  If you are looking for a chance to get out in the sun and pick some apples, you will be in the right place.  Steve used to pick apples here as a kid.
