"ON OUR SECOND DATE WE DIDN'T EVEN GIVE EACH OTHER A HUG!"

Our story began when Edith was in her final semester of nursing school and Steve was navigating his law firm in the midst of COVID.  Thanks to the online dating gods we had our first date at a tiki bar in Oakland.  On our second date we went on our first hike at Oakland Regional Park where we greeted and departed with “air hugs" in light of COVID.  We continued to get to know each other through strolls along city streets and countless jogs around Lake Merritt.  It was after finishing one of these morning runs, while sitting on the grass overseeing the lake with acai bowls in their hands that Steve expressed his interest with a kiss and after that the rest was history.
