Stephen and Alyssa both grew up in the same town in Pennsylvania, but did not meet until we were 1,600+ miles away in Colorado. Alyssa came to visit her sister in Colorado in 2018 and met Steve for the first time at the little Columbine Cafe bar in Golden at a Halloween party. Meanwhile, she was applying to grad schools and CU Boulder was at the top of the list. When Steve came home to PA for the holidays, he slid into Alyssa's DMs and asked her on a date. We went on our first date on December 30, 2018, and after that Alyssa had her heart set on moving to Colorado. Alyssa came back to visit in April 2019 for Accepted Students Weekend at her new grad school. During her visit, Steve took her up on a rock climbing date to the top of a route called "Playin' Hooky." Four years later, we climbed this route again and Steve popped the question at the top! We are so excited to get married in front of our closest friends and family in beautiful Colorado. We wanted to have a wedding that truly encompasses our lifestyle here and just feels like "us." We are counting down the days 'til July 27, 2024 when we get to celebrate our love with all of you!
