We met during our intern years at the sandwich shop at LeBonheur Children's Hospital. Stephen asked Kacie what sandwich she was getting. She of course went with her usual chicken caesar wrap. The sandwich shop may have closed and gotten turned into a coffee shop (RIP), but their love continued to grow and thrive (YAY)!

After 4+ wonderful years of dating, we got engaged at one of our favorite hotels in Nashville, TN. Stephen and Kacie took the beautiful staircase down to the lobby, stopping at a balcony overlooking the chandeliers in the lobby. Stephen said let's take a selfie, which Kacie thought was weird because he's never said that in his life. Then, he got down on one knee and asked Kacie to marry him. She said yes, of course!
