Yes! We have told no one until now and only 53 people to be exact! Felicia always wanted to elope and Stephen always wanted a traditional church wedding. We came to the agreement of a family and close friends only wedding in our backyard and we just want to keep it as quiet and simple and special as possible. We will share with the rest of the world after the wedding has taken place! We want it to be about our love and family and the people who have truly impacted our love and keep it as intimate as possible! :) We get it’s a little unconventional but we do most things that way!
We merged our houses some time ago and made those purchases in the process! We have most household items. If there is something you think we especially need we will love it, but we couldn’t think of enough items to create a registry and we decided a honeymoon fund would fit us better!
The farmer’s almanac said this was the best weather day in May so just send good vibes and prayers our way for the 31st! In the case of bad weather, the wedding will take place in our house.
No! We have an amazing photographer and part of her contract is that the guests respect her work space and give her the freedom to capture everything! We also want everyone to just forget their phones and be present and in the moment with us. It’s so rare in this age of cell phones to not be capturing the moments, but we promise all the special memories will be captured so you can just live in them with us! ;)
We don’t even have a wedding hashtag lol, even though that’s a thing. We ask that you let us be the first to post about it when we are ready (probably after the honeymoon) but after that go for it! ;)
Whatever you would wear to a backyard picnic or a garden tea party. ;)
It’s a neighborhood so parking is limited! If you live close we would suggest ubering to the wedding and ubering home! Champagne will be provided so it is probably a good idea anyway! ;) If ubering is not an option let us know we are currently coming up with a parking alternative! ;)
