Kelly Salter

Matron of Honor

"As Shannon’s older sister, I can say that I’ve literally known her for her entire life. We are best friends and have shared many fun memories together from writing Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings fan fiction to playing softball to attending college together. I am so excited for Shannon’s next great adventure! P.S. Stephen’s a pretty great guy too. ;)"

Chris Stoll

Best Man

"I am Stephen's brother and excited to be his best man. I loved growing up with him and he always let me hang out with him and his friends even though I was much younger. I’m very excited to see Stephen and Shannon dance all night on the dance floor!"

Melissa Stoll

Bridesmaid

"I'm Stephen's little sister. Although we didn't always see eye to eye when it came to video games, I always admired and looked up to my big brother for his big heart and caring nature. As we’ve grown older, we’ve become closer, bonding over our shared love of animals and our mutual passion for skiing. Some of my favorite memories with Stephen involve hitting the slopes together out west or at our family mountain, Jiminy Peak! When Stephen introduced us to Shannon, my reaction was typical of a protective little sister. I wanted to make sure she was good enough for my big brother. Upon finally meeting her, Shannon surpassed all expectations. Her warmth and genuine kindness immediately won over our hearts. Not only did Shannon become Stephen’s girlfriend, but she also became a dear friend to me, and soon, she’ll be my sister! I couldn't be more excited for their wedding day. I can’t wait to celebrate and watch my brother marry his best friend and love of his life!"

Groomsman

Shannon and I met back when she started attending Lafayette College back in 2009, where both I and her sister Kelly also attended. She and I spent a lot of time together studying and researching computer science and many many hours practicing percussion music together. I was thrilled to be able to call her my sister-in-law when Kelly and I got married in 2016, and she has become an adoring aunt to my 3-year-old daughter. Shannon, Stephen, and I all share a strong bond in our love of video games, board games, and all around geeky stuff. I am so looking forward to many, many more fun family vacations together as this perfectly matched pair become a new family (plus fur baby) all their own!

Jen Schechner

Bridesmaid

I am fortunate to be one of Shannon's oldest friends. I benefitted from Shannon's help in high school chemistry, and since then, we've definitely been quite the mixture! Whether instigating and planning surprise parties for friends, themed murder mystery parties, friendship collisions, or simple "shannon-igans," I am always thrilled to have Shannon as a friend who helps turn my pie-in-the-sky ideas into reality. As part of the bridal party, I am so excited to celebrate Shannon (and Stephen) as they turn this wedding into a reality and start the next phase of their life together.

Matthew Turco

Groomsman

"A decade old-PAX partner and arch-nemesis in Citadels, Stephen and I were roommates in college and started our long open world journey as friends that took us from NY to Boston to SF and back. We’ve shared so many experiences together and distance has never gotten in the way of us having a great time and catching up. I am looking forward to celebrating him and Shannon’s next chapter and getting down on the dance floor!"

Sam Melendez

Bridesmaid

"A big nerd with their nose in meme culture, I always know my cup of tea won’t always be for everyone- but the moment I opened my big mouth about Paula Deen memes to Shannon on a fateful night due to a scheduling mishap, the contract was signed and we were destined to be friends for life. Having known Shannon for 10 PLUS years (still can’t believe it!) She's not just a friend, but family. Stephen was just an extra cherry on top, someone who I feel I’ve known for just as long- and I’m so happy, excited and honored to be a part of their special day!"

Michael Thompson

Groomsman

"Steve and I met in San Francisco and soon were role-playing in goblin battles, going on ski trips, and playing tabletop games together - especially the games that involve us virtually beating the crap out of each other. Steve's good nature and sense of humor always made these things fun! I'm thrilled to witness this start of Steve and Shannon's next chapter."

Kathy Liu-Raj

Bridesmaid

I’m lucky to be one of Shannon’s many associates from grad school at Carnegie Mellon. Currently, Shannon and I both work at Google in UX Research, so I witness her shenanigans at work sometimes too! I’m thrilled to be Shannons’ bridesmaid, and to witness Shannon and Stephen’s mutual promotions to spouses this June!

Brandon Bassile

Groomsman

"Stephen and I met in college when I became the 6th addition to suite Hughes 110. Since then Stephen has become one of my most trusted friends and fellow explorer of worlds virtual and tabletop. Though we're rarely in the same place these days, we always find time to keep in touch and meet up for our weekly games of choice. I'm looking forward to seeing what Stephen rolls on his performance check for wedding dancing."

Michael Scott

Officiant

"I’ve known Stephen since we were in elementary school and have cherished him as one of my dearest friends. We’ve traveled the country, played countless games and have been thru thick and thin with each other! I’m also quite close to Shannon at this point and am so excited for their wedding!"
