On Jenna's first day of her first job in advertising, she got an email telling her that she had been assigned to share a two-car parking spot with someone named Hunter Stephan. At the end of the day, a cute guy with a leather shoulder bag stopped by her desk and introduced himself as said parking buddy. She was pleasantly surprised since she was expecting a 40-something married guy with kids since that's who she mainly pictured in the workforce, but Janet in HR had other plans. Checking to see if the other was done for the day led to a daily walk-and-talk to the cars. He eventually asked if they could hang out outside of the office parking garage...to which she said no. So he backed off. But after a couple weeks of that, she texted him late one night while out with friends and he knew it was on. He invited her to a UT tailgate with a bunch of his friends to lull her out of the office and his trap worked perfectly. Now, they'll be sharing a parking spot for life.
Hunter was spending Christmas in Italy with Jenna and her family, and even though this seems like a proposal-perfect circumstance that Jenna should have been very suspicious of... she wasn't. So, when Hunter suggested they go into Verona to do some Christmas shopping with her cousin Blake the day before Christmas Eve, she didn't think anything of it. The three of them were walking along the Adige River when Blake went off "to go call the airline about a missing bag" and Hunter suggested they go down closer to the water. That's when she felt the mood shift. He found the spot he had sneakily selected days before with a lovely view of Ponte Pietra, got down on one knee and popped the question! She (of course!) said yes and immediately heard clapping from above. They looked up to see Blake taking pictures next to an old Italian man clapping and yelling, "Amore! Amore!" After some tears and photos on the bridge, they headed back to the villa where the whole family was waiting to greet them with champagne, a sparkler-covered cake and pizza from a little spot down the street! So yeah, he knocked it out of the park.
