What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress code will be semi-formal. Please no Hawaiian shirts, shorts, tank tops, jean, etc.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Take this as a chance for a date night on us! We love all the kids in our lives but we have chosen to make this an 18+ event except the kids who are in the bridal party.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

All invitations will state who is invited and how many are in your party. If you have any concerns, please feel free to reach out.

Are the ceremony and reception at different locations?

Answer

No, this will all take place at the Nassau Sportsmen's Club.

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will take place outside. The ceremony will be outside by the pond (weather permitting) and the reception will take place under the pavilion.

Are phones allowed at the ceremony?

Answer

The officiant will announce a quick moment for you to take your phones out and take pictures. Beyond that moment phones are to be put away. The officiant has been instructed to call people out for having their phones out.

Am I allowed to post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Of course! While again we are asking all to refrain from using your phones during the ceremony, we encourage all guests to take pictures during the reception and use our hashtag! #GoingGregware

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bride, groom, bridal party and immediate family will hang back to take pictures. The DJ might also shout out specific people to come down for pictures (cousin pictures, aunt and uncle pictures, etc.) At this time guests are encouraged to return to the pavilion and start the party!

Is it an open bar?

Answer

There will be a partially open bar. Beer, wine and soda will be open to all to enjoy. Any liquors will be cash bar.
