Blackstone Rivers Ranch is located 36 miles from Denver. We hope most of our guests will stay in Golden. It is more conveniently located to the wedding venue. See the travel page for hotel blocks.
Cocktail Attire for the wedding on Sunday night. Ceremony and Cocktail Hour will take place outside, in the late afternoon. The reception will be in a heated tent. For footwear, the ground will be hard-packed dirt outside and concrete under the tent. For the Welcome Party on Saturday night, casual evening attire is just fine.
We will be chartering buses to/from the wedding. Please arrive at either of the two hotels listed on the Travel page in time to take the bus from there. If you prefer to drive on your own, please note that you cannot leave your car overnight at the venue. We ask you to RSVP for the bus transportation, so we can accommodate all guests who need a ride to/from the wedding venue.
Yes! There are many great restaurants in the River North (RiNo) District. Here are a few of our favorites: * Redeemer Pizza * Safta * Bigby’s Folly Wine Bar * Source Hotel Food Hall * Temaki Den * Mr. Oso * Blue Moon Brewery (the original) * Zeppelin Station (food hall) * McDevitt Taco Supply
Lots of cool places in and around Golden. Here are a few we can recommend: * Morris and Mae Food Hall * Golden Moon Speakeasy * Tributary Food Hall and Market * The Golden Mill * New Terrain Brewing Company * Bob’s Atomic Burgers * Bonfire Burritos
There are rental homes/cabins near Blackstone Rivers Ranch. Idaho Springs and Georgetown are close, however, these towns are fairly remote with limited dining options. Blackstone Rivers Ranch has a limited number of cabins on the property, too. Keep in mind, the Welcome Party is in downtown Denver. You may end up doing a lot of driving over the weekend if you stay near the venue. We encourage you to stay at the hotel blocks or elsewhere in Golden or Denver. https://www.blackstoneriversranch.com/sleep
