Our love story began in college between mutual friends that wanted to grab dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant in Muncie, IN. From that day on, we were best friends for 2 years before we decided to give dating a try! From the beginning, the relationship was fun and easy, wanting to spend every second together (thank goodness the pandemic allowed us to do just that). Through bachelors and masters degrees, a pandemic, long distance, and even getting a puppy, we always knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with each other!

On July 22nd, 2023, we planned to have family pictures done together. Stephanie thought she was planning the entire photoshoot, when actually, Rhiley was planning the whole thing with the photographer. We were walking around the beautiful grounds of St Mary's College Campus taking photos when Rhiley pulled out a handwritten letter and got down on one knee. Lots of laughs and tons of tears were had before Stephanie said yes!
