Buffalo Niagra Airport

The Buffalo Niagra Airport is the closest airport to our wedding destination. Ellicottville is about an hour's drive away. Rental cars are available at the airport. NY-33 West to I-90 W toward Erie. Take the 219 South Exit straight to Ellicottville.

Driving

If you choose the road trip option from New York City, it's about a 6 hour trip. The drive is easy and beautiful (once you are out of the city). Let us know if you want any road trip recommendations. Jude's favorite road trip stop is Tiago Downs and Steph's favorite road trip snack is pub mix.

Road Trip Stops from NYC

Scranton: An easy place to stop for food and gas if you're not looking to make it a long road trip. We usually stop here on our drives to Allegany and don't typically need to stop again. Tioga Downs: If you're feeling lucky, why not put it all on 11 (Jude's favorite way to lose money). There's also horse racing on certain days. Corning: A nice place to stretch your legs and walk along an adorable downtown area with shops and restaurants. The Corning Museum of Glass is always fun too. Watkins Glen: If you're looking to explore finger lakes wine country and get a little hike in, Watkins Glen is about 30 minutes off interstate 86 outside of Corning. It's gorges!

Inn at Holiday Valley

Holiday Valley is a ski resort. There are several places to stay on the property. We have wedding blocks at both The Inn and The Tamarack club (below). The Inn has rooms for 2-4 people and is pet friendly.

The Tamarack

The Tamarack club is another hotel on the Holiday Valley resort. The rooms are mostly suites and sleep 2-10 people. It is closer to the amenities Holiday Valley offers such as the pool, hot tub, bars, and restaurants. No pets allowed at this location.

Wingate by Wyndham Ellicottville

If you want to stay closer to the downtown area of Ellicottville, the Wingate would be your choice. We will have shuttles running from the resort to pick you up for the wedding and drop you off after. This hotel is walking distance from the bars and restaurants downtown.

Shuttle

Shuttle Bus

We will have a shuttle running from 4pm-5pm before the wedding and 9pm-1am after the wedding to take you to and from your lodging. If you are not staying at one of our suggested hotels and need to be picked up or dropped off by the shuttle, please let us know so we can add the address to the pick up/drop off list.
