Plenty of things to do and places to explore in the Rumney/Plymouth area.
Rumney Village Store

Rumney Village Store

453 Main Street, Rumney, NH 03266
, (603) 786-6020

Cozy small town country store with local foods/pastries, drinks, pottery, clothes, etc. Within walking distance from the Rumney Baptist Church. 😊

Polar Caves Park

Polar Caves Park

705 Rumney Route 25, Rumney, NH 03266
, (603) 536-1888

4 minutes from the Rumney Village, the Polar Caves is a fun park/hiking area for all ages. Explore caves that were formed during the ice age. Also has feeding area for local wildlife (deer, goats, ducks, etc). Also had a mining area for the kids. Fun caves to explore, and beautiful views. They have a couple different paths too, incase if you decide not to go in certain caves. Great attraction right in Rumney, a few minutes from our wedding venue. You might wanna book ahead though, since this is a popular summer attraction. But totally worth it.

North Station

North Station

897 New Hampshire 25, Rumney, NH 03266
, (603) 786-6087

Fun, traditional small town diner. 1 minute from the Polar Caves, and 4 minutes from our wedding venue. Serves breakfast and lunch. Great food, and great vibes. Right off of Rt 25.

The Last Chair Restaurant & Brewery

5 New Hampshire 25, Plymouth, NH 03264
, (603) 238-9545

This restaurant and local brewery is located just off the Rt 25 circle, just outside of Rumney. Great food/drinks, good spirits, and fun atmosphere. Beautiful view of the local mountainsides. Indoor & outdoor dining. Plus weekend music entertainment. Serving local drinks brewed right at their own brewery next door.

Quincy Bog Natural Area

Quincy Bog Natural Area

Quincy Bog Road, Rumney, NH 03266

Beautiful nature walk right in the heart of Rumney. 5 minute drive from our wedding venue, and a 3 minute drive from Plymouth. Take a nice walk around the bog and connect with nature. Witness some beavers building a dam, or dragonflies hovering over lily pads, or learn the different names of the trees/flowers/shrubs along the walking paths. All the walking paths are up to date and safe to walk. Also plenty of sitting areas along the trails around the bog so you can rest and enjoy the view. About a 1.8 mile loop around the bog, so approximately a little over an hour walk. Parking & admission is free.

Smith Covered Bridge

Smith Covered Bridge

107 Smith Bridge Road, Plymouth, NH 03264

Fun little spot to drive through. Right off of Tenney Mountain Highway, as you drive through the bridge you get a beautiful view of Stinson Mountain. At the Baker River entrance side of the bridge, there’s a walkway area that takes you right down to Baker River. Nice little area to picnic, and cool spot to swim during the summer. About 7 minutes from our wedding venue, and 5 minutes from Rumney’s Quincy Bog.

Panther Pub & Grille

Panther Pub & Grille

21 Main Street, Plymouth, NH 03264
, (603) 238-3100

Showing Panther Pride right in downtown Plymouth, just outside of Plymouth State University. 11 mins from Rumney. Has some of the best burgers, steaks, and has won Viewers Choice for “Best Nachos in NH” 4 years in a row! Great food, and fun atmosphere, right in downtown Plymouth.
