Little Stephanie always wanted a sister. She had a brother already and she could only hope a little sister could be better. After Mary was born, Stephanie soon realized it was not so much fun having such an enthusiastic fan copying all her ideas and following her everywhere. Years later, Stephanie is now the one copying her little sister. She constantly "borrows" Mary's much trendier clothes and asks for her advice on crafting clever instagram captions. But Mary will always be Steph's little nug.
Amber Arnold

When she isn't running a marathon or finishing an Iron Man, Amber is still going to be training for something. She always looks forward and focuses on the good that is around her. Amber is one of the toughest people Steph knows, but she still has a gentle heart. Amber recently adopted an adorable, rescue doggo named Murphy and he is in love with Amber. (Murphy has good taste in people). Amber is loyal, loving, and a touch intimidating ;)
Mollie Przybocki

Mollie and Stephanie were not only roommates in college... they were bunk buddies. Yes, bunkbeds in college were not ideal, but somehow their sleeping situation brought them even closer. Whether she is calling her friends "bebe", signing "I love you" in sign language, or giving the best squeeze hugs Mollie knows how to make her friends feel loved. No matter how many states apart, these two peas in a bunkbed keep their friendship strong.
Diane Phelps

Nearly a decade in the works, Stephanie and Diane's friendship has taken them kayaking along several Virginia rivers, driving down hundreds of miles of dirt roads, trawl fishing off the coast of Alabama, and eating guinea pig in Peru. They have had their share of wild adventures. But, the beautiful part of their friendship is that it doesn't need to be an adventure. Diane has a gift to make even the most dull errands into an enjoyable time.
Natalie Rosenthal

Most of Nat's friends believe she is some sort of super woman. When Natalie was in college she was on the local EMT rescue team. At least once a week, Nat would volunteer for the night shift, go to our 6:30 AM workout and then on to her 6 hours of classes. By the way, Nat doesn't drink coffee... or any other form of caffeine. Since our college days, Nat spent months hiking the entire Appalachian Trail and promptly started PA school. While this lovely lady has an endless list of accomplishments her personality is even more impressive. She is energetic, has a knack for adventure, and will fight for her friends tooth and nail.
Hailey Eaves

Hailey is extrodinarily thoughtful and kind. Not the average sort of kind, but the "I am going to grow flowers in my garden to give you a bouquet sort of kind". When Michael and Stephanie got engaged she sent them a congratulations letter in the mail. Hailey only lives a mile away from them, but she knows just how amazing it is to get a letter in the mail. Basically, Hailey knows how to make people feel loved. She is always thinking about others and it is an understatement to say this girl has a heart of gold.
Ally Renehan

Despite being a 25 year old woman with no children, Ally is the master of dad jokes. The amount of puns this girl can grind out in a single conversation equals the experience of a seasoned father of three. She also has quite the sense of adventure. One summer, Ally worked on a dude ranch in Montana. Its basically as cool as it sounds. She also rock climbs and plays ultimate frisbee in all kinds of weather. Its safe to say that she is one of Steph's coolest friends and always brings a little spice to the fiesta.
Liam Donohue
Best Man
Liam and Michael met during their time at UVA, but they became exponentially closer when they roomed together after college. From St. Patrick's Day celebrations to playing Spikeball together around Charlottesville, they formed an incredible friendship. Liam wholeheartedly welcomed Stephanie as an honorary member to the "Yo Pro" apartment, and the three shared many evenings together watching Hell's Kitchen and Alone. To celebrate his graduation, Liam invited Stephanie and Michael to his hometown of Lynchburg, Virginia, which is a beautiful city with a rural charm. During the visit, Liam's sheep and chickens almost convinced Steph and Michael to start a farm.
Luke Thompson

Luke and Michael lived in the same hall their first year and in the same house their last year at UVA. They are two former residents of the prestigious house named the "Buck Lodge", and they had a memory filled fourth year at UVA in a house adorned with banana stains on the ceiling and the smell of Papa Johns baked into the walls. Over the years they've grown closer through weekly video game sessions, and regardless of distance they've maintained a strong friendship. Luke is a deep thinker, and if you ever want to have your perspective widened, ask him about a deep topic like why yellow is the best color shirt to wear.
Austin Widner

Austin and Michael met on a cabin trip during their second year at UVA, but it wasn't until they lived together in the "Buck Lodge" and Michael learned how to correctly pronounce "Appalachia" that they could be true friends. Austin is a man of many talents and incredible stories - from partying with Post Malone to shooting the breeze with WWE superstars and going undrafted in the 2019 NBA draft, there is truly no one in the world like Austin. Michael and Austin play games together weekly, and they have only grown closer since graduating.
Brady Scott

Brady and Michael met during their first year at UVA on a mission trip, and their relationship was forged with a groundbreaking breakfast in the O Hill Dining Hall over the book of Romans. Brady is one of Michael's closest friends, and he has had a big impact on Michael over the years. Brady has challenged Michael to be a better version of himself - which Brady did in college by dragging Michael to workouts at 6:30 am at the AFC gym. Brady has always been there for Michael, from giving him advice to convincing restaurants full of strangers to sing "Happy Birthday" for him in the middle of July. They have an intense rivalry when playing board games together, but Michael proved he is superior in fantasy football when he won their league in 2022.
Connor Bottcher

Connor is the kind of person you don't meet often but whose friendship is a treasure. Connor is the kind of guy who buys an ice cream shop at age 25, and the kind who will fly with you and your fiancé to Germany to celebrate Oktoberfest the right way. Michael and Connor met in their first year of school at UVA, and they have been growing steadily closer ever since. Connor has been able to see much of Stephanie and Michael's relationship, and he has developed a (loving) antagonism towards the bride-to-be. He is a very important person to both the groom and bride, and if there is any mischief the day of, he is surely to be involved in it.
