It all started while attending a conference back in 2017 at the National Harbor in Maryland. Steph was looking to get her little brother a job at the University of Alabama Recreation Center. It just so happened that she was sitting next to one of her very good friends, in a conference session, who had a contact working at Alabama, and that person was presenting at that session. That just so happened to be Will! Fast forward to the following year at another conference in 2018 in Denver where Steph and Will reconnected and the rest was history! They started their life together doing long distance in Texas where they found and rescued Teddi, moved up to Michigan together, and then landed down in Virginia where they call home today. After being together for just over 4 1/2 years - Will popped the question with Teddi on James Madison University's beautiful quad where he pulled off the surprise by having Steph's family hiding and jumping out after he got down on one knee and asked the question of a lifetime!
