Hailey has been the voice of reason for Stella for 16 years. When Hailey studied high school in Singapore, Stella was in Vietnam. When Hailey went to the US for undergrad and postgrad, Stella went to Canada. Yet, the two talk every day. :) Totally the case of sister from another mister! Having a bachelor from Brown and doing her PhD at Columbia University, Hailey makes Stella feel like a proud sister!
Thai Tran
Best Man
Quang's trusted friend, Thai, has known Quang since Quang first arrived in Canada. Thai has been with Quang through many adventures together, from having road trip to Canadian east coast, conquering Tough Mudder, to bringing Fat Devils soccer team from the bottom to win the championship. Thai travels every year and loves taking on new adventures. Climbing Kilimanjaro, sky-diving, and Muay Thai are among a few.
Adilya Kanyazova

Adilya is Stella's colleague-turn-best friend. The struggles of obtaining the Permanent Resident status and the stress from the CFA exams bonded the two together. Adilya has always had Stella’s back since day 1. The two enjoy having brunch together, learning standup paddle board together, and taking self-defence courses together. Even for moving jobs, the two moved together!

Andy and Quang have the same group of close friends. To Quang, Andy is a young hustler with ambition. Andy thinks of Quang as a big brother whom he comes for career advice and life's perspective. Andy and Quang have had many adventures together and always look for the next ones.
Jessica Yu

Stella's work wife at RBC! Can't start their days without grabbing a coffee and chitchatting with each other at 9 a.m. Jessica is the smart, no non-sense type that keeps Stella focused on what really matters personally and professionally. Jessica has been attempting to work on Stella’s diet and trying to make Stella become more health-conscious (ahem). The two also share a passion for shoes!
Bryan Nguyen

Bryan is Stella's baby brother. Bryan has been continuously supportive in helping Quang and Stella's family build trust and comfort. To Bryan, Quang is a gym buddy, a trusted advisor, a big brother that makes him proud, and someone he believes would take a good care of his big sister for life.
Lulu Tong
Bridesmaid
Another ex-colleague-turn-best friend. Lulu is lighthearted and has been the best cheerleader for Stella and Adilya during their ups and downs the last few years. Lulu has a great taste for fashion and loves exploring Toronto’s food scene. An ideal girl date for Stella would involve having brunch with Lulu, shopping around and finishing with a high tea session at Windsor Arms!
Minh Pham

Minh met Quang through the Best Man when Minh first moved to Toronto and has always trusted Quang to be a big brother away from home. The two have many memories together, from late night karaoke to after-work golfing while catching a beer (or too many beers). Minh enjoys sharing and getting Quang’s perspectives on both personal and professional lives.
Melanie Rodriguez

Melanie was Stella's best friend during her two years at Ivey. She is the most kind-hearted, independent and straightforward person Stella has known to this day. Melanie quit her high-paying corporate job to travel to South America to help children there have access to a better life before returning to Toronto to continue working in the non-profit sector. Currently, she is a full-time mother to the cute little Christian, a full-time MBA student, and has her own consulting practice!
Rob Huang

Rob and Quang started their friendship at Christmas drinking party a few years ago. Since then, they have been teaming up and going through soccer, hiking, tough mudder, foodie group, and the unforgettable man's trip to Montreal. To Rob, Quang is a self-disciplined gentleman, a family man, and more importantly, a person who can truly listen and support his friends.

Stella and Quang first met Vicky during their friend’s wedding. Impressed by the night, Stella and Quang reached out to Vicky when they started planning their big day. Vicky has been nothing but professional and dedicated. Thanks to Vicky, planning a wedding is less stressful and more fun for Quang and Stella!
