It all started 7 years ago, when Rachael threw a party for their mutual friend Derochea. When Zach walked in and saw Rachael there was instant chemistry (#ItsHotandSteffeyinHere). Rachael thought he was attractive, funny & kind. They spent the entire night laughing while playing True American & Cards Against Humanity. Although there was an undeniable connection, circumstances that night led them in different directions (romantically). However, they spent the next 2 years building the most incredible friendship. Every time Zach was in town, the two would go on “friend dates”. They would play mini golf, go to the movies, enjoy Dave & Busters, and hunt for the ever so elusive “TOTO”....but no magical spark (yet). They constantly swore to everyone that they were just friends, until one day Rachael realized she may have feelings for Zach (#fannyflutters). Little did she know, the feelings were mutual. After a few weeks of flirty texts & marco polo videos, she invited him to go “ghost hunting” with her sister Melinda. The tension of being in a strange place while looking for the unknown, drew them closer and closer. And FINALLY, they became each others LAST first kiss. The following weekend, Zach had to attend a movie premiere in Vegas. Given the recent events he asked Rachael if she would be his plus one. Although it seemed like an extravagant 2nd date, Rachael thought, “Why not?!”. They had an unforgettable time and spent the entire five hour drive home laughing while exchanging stories about their pasts. Friendship turned into romance, and the love they had for each other over the years grew stronger and stronger until they finally decided to move in together and adopt 5 crazy dogs.
