Our story starts crossing paths at Stefanie's sister Elise's birthday parties. Robbie's interest was piqued at their initial meeting, but it was the following year's celebration that brought some of Stefanie's attention... Then the pandemic hit and changed all of our lives. Robbie started working very closely (although remotely) with Elise, and Stefanie's name came up a few times, with Robbie dropping a few hints of interest. Stefanie was living in Vermont at the time, but circumstances allowed for a smaller get to know each other get together, before a timely camping trip for Robbie allowed for a more formal first date. Another trip to MA for Stefanie became a beach date and the relationship started to grow. The first year of dating was long distance and allowed the relationship to grow deeper through communication while we were physically separate. We made the effort to see each other of course, with the new normal of work from home allowing Robbie to spend more time in VT than he otherwise could have. At the end of the 2020 / 2021 school year, Stefanie packed her bags and moved to Waltham, Massachusetts. We thought it was a little early to move in together, but the move to MA allowed for a more consistent dating schedule and our relationship continued to flourish. We started traveling together, going to lots of weddings -- many of you who are reading this! We learned about each other's goals, desires, and how best to annoy or rather how best to avoid annoying each other. And most importantly, we learned how much fun we have together with a mutual respect that makes us great partners. After Stefanie's Waltham lease ended, we moved into the house in Hanson and have learned even more about ourselves and our relationship through living together. We don't have the same strengths, but rather have complimentary strengths that support each other through different challenges. Over the years we've spent lots of time with friends and family, intertwining our lives and schedules. We love approaching events as a couple and planning a future together. We're so excited for what the future holds and can't wait to celebrate our wedding with you on June 30th.
