What is the nearest airport to the wedding venue?

Should we get accommodation strictly at the venue, or am I free to stay somewhere else?

Answer

You have a choice. You can opt to stay at the venue, or pick another lodging area. The advantage of staying at the schloss are the following: 1. You get a deep and good group room discounted rate; 2. Easy access to your room before, during and after our group events; 3. There is free wifi so communication within the group is guaranteed; 4. You get up-to-date information as there may be changes; and last but not least... 5. You get to hang out with us... wink wink!

How far is the venue from the Frankfurt airport?

Answer

Only about 21 minutes easy and relaxed drive according to the castle staff. Of course, it will all depend as to the time of your arrival, your speed and amount of traffic at that time.

Is there a complimentary shuttle from the venue?

Answer

Unless you are a descendant of the late Emperor or Empress, the answer is... carpool with other guests. So, start making friends now. lol

How can we go from the airport to the venue?

Answer

1. Rent a car 2. Take a taxi 3. Carpool with other guests who may be arriving at the same time as you are. ( If this is your choice, please coordinate with either Stefan or Anne)

Besides the group activities, what else is there to do?

1. Play golf 2. Rent a porsche 3. Hike 4. Massage 5. Explore the town of Kronberg and/or Conigstein 6. Visit Victoria Park 7. See the Opel Zoo 8. Enjoy the German cuisine, etc.

Are shops open on Sunday?

Answer

Besides the church and restaurants, everything else is closed. So make to plan shopping on another day.

Are restaurants in the area open all week long?

Answer

We wish, but Germans there usually would not operate Monday and Tuesday as these are their rest day. This also applies to the venue. The schloss restaurant will be open for breakfast only, but you can have coffee and cake in the lobby anytime. Anne and Stefan will have a good list of restaurants open on these days courtesy of the venue.

What is the weather like there in July?

Answer

Well, Summer it is that is why the couple chose this. Almost guaranteed to be sunny... and hot. So, bring comfy clothes and footwear appropriate for this.
