Finally tying the knot!

Kristen and Sam met through their mutual friend Brandon. He asked Kristen to sub on their soccer team because they were often short girls. According to Sam, Kristen is a unicorn because she likes to play soccer. On the first day they met, Sam almost killed Kristen on the ride home. Fortunately for the both of them, Sam's proven he's a much better driver than that first encounter. However, Kristen refused to play soccer again for a few months. Eventually, Kristen agreed to play again and as she left Brandon's house she was met by an older-yet very handsome man (Sam's dad) about ready to throw a newspaper at her. From then on, Dan and Kristen became best friends. When Sam asked Kristen out, she agreed; but only to hang out with Dan more often. Once they started dating, Kristen and Sam soon started traveling the country, experiencing new things together, and just living each day to the fullest (cheesy; we know). Kristen's favorite holiday is the 4th of July. Nearly every year has been spent at Mapappa's with friends, family, and the lake. Since Sam knew this, he decided it was the perfect time to propose. Unfortunately, Sam is not the best secret keeper. On their way to a parade, Kristen asked to borrow Sam's phone to text her parents. However, when she opened the text to her mom, there was a text mentioning "today" and "the dock". He tried to come up with an excuse to cover-up, but he had already mentioned many times that he wanted to take a walk with her and Amelia (very suspicious). That evening, they were sitting together on the dock before the fireworks started; last minute, Kristen decided she wanted to sit next to Mapappa. Sam came with, but was pouty ("replanning" according to Sam) the entire firework show. At the end of the night, Sam told Kristen he forgot his phone at the lake, which she didn't believe, but went along anyways. They walked back and started to "look" in the grass. He proposed. She cried. And everyone was happy after that.
