Stephanie’s POV: The first time I saw Troy I was in the kitchen catching up with some friends at a birthday party and in walks Kyle and Troy. I wave across the room saying hi to Kyle and Troy also says hi (me thinking I didn’t say hi to him but he seems nice). As the night went on, I made my rounds talking to some friends. I ended up outside talking with a group people and here comes Troy trotting along and chiming into our conversation, and introducing himself. He hijacked the conversation and next thing I know we were the only two talking, I don't exactly remember what we spoke about but I do remember that we were protecting everyone from a huge spider that night. We eventually said our good byes, and that night around 2AM he sent me a request on Instagram and I slid into his DMs and the rest was history. Troy’s POV: Ok so, we did indeed meet at a mutual friend's birthday party. I remember my goal for the night was to play a lot of beer pong and drink a bunch of this mystery punch that was in this giant plastic bin (super cool, I know). Let's just say I got lost in the sauce and was really vibing by the end of the night. With plenty of liquid courage, I found myself cruising around the party talking to various groups of people when I came across Stephanie talking to one of our friends. I approached them and started talking (way too much) with them until it was just Stephanie and I. I have a distinct memory of us standing next to this GIANT spiderweb in the backyard to make sure nobody accidentally went walking through it. We went our separate ways and I took a gamble on finding her on IG that night and adding her. AND LOOK AT US NOW BABYYYY

It was the summer of 2021, Stephanie had just graduated from Rollins and the couple was getting ready for their trip to Washington state. During their trip, they experienced the many beautiful sites and food that Washington had to offer. They played in tide pools, hiked up to waterfalls in the Hoh rainforest, and searched for glistening vampires in the town of Forks. But the highlight of the trip was walking down Ruby Beach during sunset, where Troy asked Stephanie to marry him.
