In true millennial fashion, Adam and Liz’s story begins on Hinge. There is only so much one can know from a profile with a few pictures and even fewer prompts, but thankfully we must have done something right (besides swiping) to catch each other’s attention. One date turned to two, and two turned to three, four, and more. We should have known we had something special on our second date when a quick drink after work turned into 7 hours of getting to know each other, only to be interrupted by the restaurant closing. Neither of us can say what we talked about that night but we both remember how easy and fun it felt, and still feels when we’re together. After a year of long distance - take our word for it, the Upper East Side to Bensonhurst qualifies as long distance - we moved in together in April 2023. Boxy approved of the arrangement which meant an engagement was right around the corner. In August, we went to Vermont to enjoy a quiet weekend following a busy summer. Little did Liz know this quiet weekend would turn into the most surprising and exciting one of all. Waiting at the end of a scrapbook of our favorite memories, Adam held an engagement ring and a promise to be together forever. Now, exactly 365 days later we will be tying the knot in front of our closest friends and family! We cannot imagine a better way to celebrate the start of our married life together and we are so excited to see everyone on 8.18.2024!
