FAQs

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be at the same venue - Wildman BT, 3020 W. Carroll Ave., Chicago, IL. This is located on Chicago's west side near the Garfield Park Conservatory. Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that our guests dress in cocktail attire. Ladies, wear your cutest mini or midi dresses and men, stick to a suit (ties not necessary unless you're feeling fancy). There will be a coat check available.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Plus ones are reserved for close family or those who are married/in serious dating relationships. If you are permitted to bring a plus one, your invitation will be addressed to you and your significant other, or "and guest."

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Only little ones related to the bride and groom are welcome. If your child(ren) are permitted at the wedding, your invitation will be addressed to you as a family instead of an individual. Kid's meals will be available for each child.

Question

Will you be providing transportation?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation. We recommend using a ride-share app such as Lyft or Uber to get you to and from the venue. Both Uber and Lyft drivers are fast and easily accessible in the city. Additionally, the wedding venue offers free valet parking for those who opt to drive.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

You can find our recommended hotels under the "hotels" tab on our website. If you prefer a different accommodation, Chicago is a large city with tons of hotel and Air Bnb options. We recommend staying in the West Loop, West Town, or Wicker Park areas.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We ask that you put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony and let our lovely photographer, Victoria, capture this moment. You are free to take photos and videos once the ceremony is finished.

Question

Will there be downtime between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We will be going straight from the ceremony to the cocktail hour, then reception. Be prepared to remain at the venue once you arrive for the ceremony. Hors D'oeuvres will be served during the cocktail hour.

Question

Will there be an open bar/do I need to bring cash?

Answer

We will have an open bar serving beer, wine, and spirits from the beginning of the cocktail hour through the end of the reception.

For all the days along the way
