Two mutual friends, a dating app and a New York City bar, the rest was history!

It was Kelsey's favorite holiday (Thanksgiving) in her hometown of Paradise Valley, AZ. It had become a tradition to hike the very steep and strenuous Camelback Mountain each time we were home and this year would be no exception only this time, there would be a surprise at the top! After a 4 hour flight delay the night before, weather complications forcing the hike to be on Wednesday (not Thursday) and a dead car battery on our way to the hike - we made it to the base of the mountain. In normal Kelsey style, she was speeding to the top of the mountain, wanting to "get this over with" so she could go to Starbucks. I was trailing behind, sweating bullets, hoping not to lose the ring! As we reached the top, there was a private area "reserved" for us to catch our breath and gaze at the city. It was then that I got down on one knee and asked the love of my life to marry me!
