We met working the night shift at a production company on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood... how cliche. Dustin would pretend like he didn't know how to turn on his computer and I would happily "teach" him. After weeks of him showing up in my office looking for "help", his persistence finally paid off when we celebrated Cinco De Mayo, outside the office! It was our first time being together away from work and after a few pinatas were smashed and tequilas were consumed - we realized we were both obsessed with the other and became inseparable, forever after.

Dustin proposed in Paris in the Jardin du Luxembourg (insert French Accent)! I was in town visiting because Dustin had been in Europe working on a film for a few months. We had an incredible week filled with delicious French food and wine. On his first day off we explored the city by shopping and wandering around some French markets. He was very insistent we visit the Luxembourg Gardens, a very classic French park. We drank a bottle of wine in the rain, under some tree coverage, and once the bottle was finished he got down on one knee! Paris is such a very magical backdrop for a proposal... I must say.
