Although how we met was the epitome of cliche, the dreaded lackluster story of, "We met online!" However, our first date was anything but. Tim chose the perfect spot, a Festival at Sunset Park titled, "Taquitos & Mojitos." Of course, as any girl's first thought, "OMG what to wear!?!" It was March 30, 2019, somewhat warm but still chilly towards the evening. I wanted to wear a pink summer dress but I didn't have a sweater to match. I searched endlessly at the stores that morning but couldn't find the perfect color to match my ensemble. I told my mom about my plight. She said, "Oh I have something perfect for you! It will match your dress!" I picked up the coat and it was definitely pink. In fact, it was a bright pink fur coat. At this point, beggars could not be choosers and I had run out of time. I took it and was on my way. The festival was quite busy but I finally made my way to the place where he stated he would be. The first thing out of his mouth was, "Hey Macklemore!" We laughed! It was the first of many great laughs. At that moment I knew I would love his great sense of humor. Thereafter, we walked into the Festival and as soon as we turned the corner, we saw a huge ring with midget wrestlers (Tim's favorite) tackling each other. We laughed again! All throughout that date, Tim was so entertaining. Everything he said kept me chuckling. I begged him to stop because my face hurt from laughing so hard. I can honestly say that no one has ever made me smile so much on a first date. We had such a great time that I didn't want it to end and I guess it never did because here we are. We are so lucky to have found each other, even if it was in a "cliche" sort of way. Thank you Bumble, and we are happy to get paid if you want to use us for one of your commercials!
