Mark and I first met at UT San Antonio through mutual friends in 2011! We further got to know each other through playing intramural sports together. After a semester of getting to know each other, he finally worked up the courage to ask me out on our first date ~ Valentine's Day! With the help of his best friends, he was able to put together a Sunday's Best outfit and took me to Macaroni Grill. During the date, we easily bonded over our love for sports, dogs and The Challenge TV show... I can easily say, 10 years later, we still bond over these same things! -Stacie

After 10 long years of working up the courage to pop the question to Stacie, I wanted to do it at one of her favorite mountains to snowboard, Park City, Utah! It was a beautiful day on the mountain and I had arranged for our good friends to meet us at a certain peak at the very very top of the mountain to capture the moment. However, the first part of the day Stacie decided she was going to audition for the Winter Olympics and she went non-stop on every run we came across... When the time came to finally meet at "the spot" Stacie was so tired she wanted to call it quits and head back down to the lodge. I might have begged/ pushed her to keep going to the point where she knew something was going on. After a few more "come on, only one more lift!" and some "we can head down afters!" I finally got her to the perfect spot as the sun was setting over the Utah treeline. I wiped the snow off my pants and FINALLY got onto one knee and asked my bestfriend to spend the rest of her life with me. -Mark
