This is a beach resort wedding! Attire should reflect the temperature (average 87 degrees) - we don't want our guests passing out from heat exhaustion!

When should I arrive and depart?

Answer

Many of our guests are arriving on Thursday May 4, and departing either Sunday, May 7 or Monday, May 8, but you're welcome to spend as much time at the resort as you like.

Are there COVID restrictions?

Answer

Currently (as of March 2023), there are no COVID restrictions: On Thursday Sept 22nd, the Government of Barbados announced its changes to the travel entry protocols. Effective midnight, Thursday September 22, 2022, Barbados will discontinue all COVID-19 related travel protocols. Therefore, there will be no testing requirements for entering Barbados whether you are vaccinated or unvaccinated. In addition, the wearing of masks generally will now be optional

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, with two requests: Please tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #gillinghamsisland so we can keep track of all of your pictures! Please no photos of the ceremony , as we will have a professional photographer for this.
