Question
Will there be hotel room blocks?
Answer
No. Due to military graduations in the area, and differing budgets/lengths of stay, we won't be doing any hotel blocks. Thankfully we live in a popular tourist area, and there are several different options for hotels/motels, B&Bs, and short-term rental homes.

Will the events be indoors, or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be outdoors, and seating will be at a small, public amphitheater. The reception will be held at an indoor event hall.

What should I wear?
Answer
Dressy casual. Just remember the ceremony will be outdoors, and it is late summer in the South!

Will the reception be open bar?
Answer
No. As part of our contract with the reception venue, there will be a Cash Bar only. No outside alcohol will be permitted.

How do we RSVP?
Answer
Ideally, we would like for you to RSVP via this website by using the RSVP button on our home page, or on the RSVP tab. You may also RSVP by sending us an email, at RisingCosta2024@gmail.com

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Answer
Our ceremony starts at 3:30, so you may want to arrive between 3:00-3:15. Keep in mind, seating will be in a small, outdoor amphitheater. No chairs.

Where do I park for the ceremony?
Answer
There is free parking along both sides of Paris Avenue. (Limited parking may also be available near the Port Royal Post Office parking lot.)

Can we take photos?
Answer
We will have a professional photographer, so we ask that you please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. The reception... sure!! Just make sure that you share them with us! You can tag us, message them to us, and/or use our hashtag #RisingCosta

How do we enter the reception hall?
Answer
The AmVets parking lot is one-way only. Our private hall entrance door is on the right-side, when facing the building.
