Despite both having graduated from the University of Maryland in 2013 and running around in similar circles, Stacey & Drew did not officially meet until the later half of 2015, through their mutual friends Greg & Susie. After many months of Stacey telling anyone who would listen that she would "never fall in love with Drew DePoy," things began to get serious. Needless to say, she definitely fell in love with Drew DePoy. The rest is history.

In October of 2018, Stacey planned a trip to Raleigh to celebrate Drew's birthday. They had such an amazing time, that they decided to plan a trip back with friends the following October. Stacey developed a very detailed itinerary for the weekend, with little room for additional activities. Unbeknownst to her, Drew had been working with the group to plan a surprise proposal. On Saturday, October 12th, Drew got down on one knee in the rose garden of the JC Raulston Arboretum in Raleigh. After a happy acceptance and some time for the emotions to settle, the group headed to Crank Arm Brewery to celebrate...and the surprises continued! Waiting for the happy couple were their parents and close friends, surrounded by decorations and photos. It was a magical day. Drew & Stacey continue to be so thankful for their friends & family and cannot wait to continue the celebrations with you all on December, 18!
