Travel Note
The closest airport hosting major airlines is Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ), which is approximately 45 minutes away from Ouray by car. Telluride (TEX), Durango (DRO), and Grand Junction (GJT) are also within a 1-2 hour drive. Ouray is a 5-6 hour drive from Denver. Major cities within driving distance are Denver (DEN), Colorado Springs (COS), Albuquerque (ABQ), and Salt Lake City (SLC). We hope that during your trip out west that you will consider visiting other beautiful locations in Colorado and the surrounding states. There are many lodging options in Ouray, including vacation rentals, bed & breakfasts, and traditional hotels and motels. Most hotels are fairly small, and so we have not reserved any room blocks. We recommend you stay in downtown Ouray within walking distance to the venue, as there are no cabs or ride share services available. Please be mindful that some historical properties have age restrictions for guests. We have highlighted several popular options in town, but you can also consult the link below to view all local lodging in Ouray. We recommend you book lodging as soon as possible to ensure you get the lodging you prefer. The wedding venue, The Beaumont Hotel, is currently reserved for the wedding party and immediate family, and the room block code will be posted here in January if any additional rooms are available. Outside of Ouray, the closest towns with available lodging are likely Ridgway (15 minute drive) and Montrose (40 minute drive). Montrose is a larger city with some chain hotel options.
