Spenser and Ashley met when they were in high school, exactly when varies on which person you ask. Nonetheless, the two have been linked ever since. Their first date was on a Sunday afternoon. Spenser took Ashley to play frisbee golf and learned SO quickly that while Ashley was a talented athlete, she was not cut out for frisbee golf and that maybe he should have taken her for food instead. So that's what they did -- & they headed straight to Taco Bell. Fast forward through countless hours of baseball games and Friday nights. Spenser went on to play baseball and study Exercise Science at North Carolina Wesleyan and UNC-Pembroke. Ashley went on to study Clinical Research at UNCW. They grew into young adults and their friends became friends and old friends met new friends. During their senior years of college, Spenser coached baseball at Southeastern Community College in Whiteville, NC, just about an hour away from Wilmington; Ashley rescued a wild and very sweet dog during Hurricane Florence and together, they named him Maverick. Maverick loves car rides and balls, which was good because they had a lot of baseball games to go to. Spenser, Ashley, and Mav now live in Morehead City, North Carolina and are enjoying the new pace of weekends on the water and football / DIY Sundays; you know, real adult stuff. They love having at-home concerts and dancing. They can't wait to have an official ~concert of love~ with lots of singing and dancing with all of you on August 6th, 2022.
