Where is the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both the wedding ceremony and reception will take place at Old Daley on Crooked Lake in Averill Park, NY. Our reception will begin immediately following our ceremony.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Come dance the night away with us wearing cocktail attire! Think smart clothing, like a suit or dress shirt and tie or knee-length dress.

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

Answer

We are planning on having an outdoor, lakeside ceremony. In the event of inclement weather, we will move our ceremony indoors.

What's the weather like in the Capital Region during October?

Answer

The weather in Averill Park, NY during October should be in the mid-50s or 60s during the day, but it may get cold at night.

Are phones allowed during your ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests refrain from taking photos or videos before, during, and until the conclusion of our ceremony. You are more than welcome to take as many photos as you would like during the reception!

Are kids invited?

Answer

In order to allow all guests, including parents, to have a good time, we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adult-only occasion.

Is there parking available near the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is a parking lot on site at Old Daley on Crooked Lake.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We will be offering limited shuttle service between the Holiday Inn and the venue. However, it is first come, first served. The shuttle will hold about 40 people and will make a few trips before/after the wedding. We highly recommend driving/car-pooling if you are able to.

Will Uber/Lyft Be Available?

Answer

There are Ubers and Lyfts in the area, but we strongly recommend car-pooling if possible. We cannot guarantee that Ubers and Lyfts will be available on the night of our wedding.
