We’re getting Married!

August 25th, 2017, Ashley was on vacation with her immediate family outside Atlantic City. A few weeks prior her friend Joelle asked her to go see a band on August 25th with her other girlfriends Lauren and Erin. She said she wasn’t sure she’d be able to attend because the traffic on the way back could get her home later. She actually arrived home around 1pm so she texted the girls.....she was in for a fun night out! Dan was working late and had no plans of going out. When he arrived home his roommate Mike said “Hey, lets go out for a few drinks”.... Dan was in. The boys headed to a bar near their apartment and then after a few drinks grabbed an Uber and went to the Lion Heart where Dan hadn’t been in years. Ashley and her girlfriends were at Savoy on Lark to see the band and decided to switch venues and went to a bar Ashley hadn’t been in years….the Lion Heart. As they were there Joelle and Lauren quickly got excited as Joelle saw a guy she never exchanged numbers with from about a month prior. She goes “Ashley! You have to meet Mike, I met him a few weeks ago” Both Ashley and Dan realized their friends had both met someone and were planning to go home themselves, until Joelle and Mike introduced them. They started talking and realized they had so much in common. They both loved similar TV shoes (Game of Thrones!), enjoyed seeing comedians, and they both have an unhealthy love affair with going to the movies. It didn't take long to realize they both had a silly sense of humor and the connection between them was instant. They talked for hours that night and walked for miles just losing track of time, as if they had known each other for years. Dan asked Ashley out on their first official date the following Thursday. She met at his apartment and they walked to Junior’s to get a few drinks before he took her to Madison Theater to see a favorite childhood movie of their's, The Sandlot. They’ve been smitten ever since!
