What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress for the occasion but please try and avoid wearing the bridesmaid colour of claret/burgundy.

What is the address of the venue? Is there parking on site?

The Venue Bowers Mill Branch Road, Barkisland, Halifax HX4 0AD Parking is available on site. https://thevenuebowersmill.co.uk/

What time do I need to arrive?

Answer

Guest arrival is from 11:30am at The Venue Bowers Mill. Guests to be seated by 12:15pm, please ensure you arrive in plenty of time. The Ceremony will begin at 12:30pm.

Is the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes - The entrance to The Venue Bowers Mill is via stairs, there is lift access please let us know within your RSVP if you will be requiring this on the day.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Will dinner be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes we have canapés at our drinks reception and our Wedding Breakfast is in the form of grazing boards, which is why you have not been asked to decide on a meal choice. Please let us know of any dietary requirements and allergies when you RSVP. We will take into account any dietary requirements for the evening meal as well.

What time will the night end?

Answer

Last orders are at 12:30am with carriages away by 1:00am - a direct taxi telephone line is available on site as phone signal is weak at the venue.
