Pena Palace has the most amazing views, and the vibrate colors make this all the more breathtaking. The lookout point is where we got engaged in 2022 with Sophie's family capturing the moment. The picture here is actually from a German tourist that witnessed our engagement and found us as we were leaving the palace to send these amazing pictures. You can access Pena Palace by taking a bus from the Sintra train station - (Bus 434 Sintra - loop ticket around the town to get to castles (11 euro pp))
This beautiful beach is a short walk from Grande Real Villa Itália Hotel & Spa. During our last trip here, we spent an entire day enjoying bottles of wine and this unique, quiet beach. Just a short walk from here, you can enjoy one of the best smoothies ever at QabdaQ Café (adding in the avocado is a must!)
Cabo da Roca is the westernmost point of the Sintra Mountain Range with some amazing views. From this point, you can hike down to the Praia de Ursa which is a more hidden beach. This beach is tricky to get to via a hike down the rocks, but the views are well worth it.
This large market is similar to the North Market (for our Columbus friends & family). It is a large open market with various vendors to choose from, as well as multiple drink choices. Here, Sophie found out she did not like port wine, after ordering a flight of it...
This is a rooftop restaurant with great views
This is a great open air market to check out local food, drinks and shopping. You can grab a snack and a glass of wine and sit to enjoy downtown Lisbon! When we visited in 2022, we stayed right next to this market.
This hole in the wall turned out to be a great dinner - Steve and Tyler were able to cook their own steak at the table!

Historic castle in Lisbon dating back to at least the 8th century BC
We went here one of the nights in Cascais and were welcomed by friendly hosts that helped us choose a great wine to sip on and enjoy the atmosphere.
