Wedding Party

Meet our favorite people!

Hallie Tierney

Maid of Honor

It's a joy to reciprocate the role Sophia played in my own wedding, a moment we've eagerly anticipated for years! Sophia and I first crossed paths courtesy of my now-husband, Sam, who happened to be her coworker. He knew we would hit it off. Going on to share a home for three years, you'll recognize me as the other wine-drinking roommate mentioned in Ethan's bio. Our final chapter as roommates proved the most pivotal. I was planning my wedding, and Sophia found her own serendipitous love story with the boy next door. Their relationship started out as a friendship, but anyone could recognize they would soon be much more. Our friendship is the kind that defies time and distance, proven now by our long distance. Beyond celebrating Sophia's milestone, I find joy in the simple moments with my husband, Sam, and our dogs, Girdie and Margo. You'll find us planning our next home renovation, experimenting with new recipes, or indulging in a favorite movie (preferably 'Cars 3'-but never 1 or 2!).

Diana Romero

Bridesmaid

I am a mother of 3 beautiful boys that keep my life fun and bright. I am a lover of the outdoors and sunshine as long as I am sharing it with my amazing husband. I am very lucky to have married into the Christie family June 2023 and gained a sister in Sophia. I am honored to be one of her bridesmaids and looking forward to share in this special day!

Emily Sonnen

Bridesmaid

I’m lucky enough to be Sophia’s oldest sister and the mom of her favorite niece, Nora. I’m so excited for Sophia and Noah to get married! Watching Sophia and Noah fall in love over the past few years has been such a joy. The way they love each other is so special. Sophia’s spark and sass make Noah laugh, and Noah’s kindness and calm demeanor bring stability and peace to their relationship. It’s obvious that they are growing together in the best way possible, and what an honor it is to be along for the ride!

Abbey

Bridesmaid

I live in Denver, Colorado, and my star sign is Leo. I’m Sophia’s favorite sister and favorite bridesmaid, anyone who tells you different is just jealous. We met in 1999 and quickly became enemies, but like the classic enemies-to-lovers trope, we couldn’t keep that up for long. As soon as we both quit being annoying little children, we got along swimmingly and have since been quite close. I’m honored to be a bridesmaid in her wedding and I’m excited to see Sophia and Noah embark on this next phase of life together.

Anna

Bridesmaid

I am Sophia’s (favorite) sister! I love to get creative and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. My favorite color is blue and my favorite (na) drink is water. I love a bubbly mule or a stiff old fashioned, but mostly, I love having a good time with those closest to me. Congrats Phia and Nobby

Abi Bell

Bridesmaid

I am a nurse in Denver, CO and I got married to my bff, Jack, on June 14th! Noah and I became roommates when he was 1 year old. We remained roommates for 18 years. They were the best and worst years of my life. In all seriousness, he definitely is my favorite sibling. Okay, okay…jokes aside, I am so happy that Noah has found an amazing woman to share his life with. It has been such a joy to get to know Sophia over the last few years, and she is one of the kindest people that I have ever met. We are so lucky to have her join our family (she is the perfect addition) and I’m looking forward to the many memories ahead for Noah and Sophia!!

Gage Hillberg

Best Man

I live outside of Denver Colorado with my dog Harley. I first met Noah in 7th grade and became fast friends in high school by copying his homework every morning at the breakfast table for about 4 years. Later on I met Sophia while staying at Noah's apartment on my quarterly drive between Colorado and South Dakota. I am honored to be included in their special day and look forward to many more years of taking our dogs to the park together.

Benjamin Lauer

Groomsman

I grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where I went to O'Gorman High School with Noah and the rest of the "fellowship" crew. What started as a high school friendship, fishing deep into the night on the golf course by Noah's house, causing trouble in class, or barbequing with Mike Bell (while sneaking a beer or two out of his garage fridge, of course), has now developed into a lifelong brotherhood. I now live in Denver, along with many of the other "bros" who missed me so much they followed me here. In my free time, I enjoy skiing, hiking, and doing virtually anything outside, though perhaps my favorite activity is slicing drives, missing putts, and melting down on the back 9 while Noah and the guys heckle me relentlessly for being a shitty golfer. From the golf course to sharing monumental moments together like this, cheers to Noah and Sophia, and to a lifetime of memories ahead!

Ethan French

Groomsman

The reason I selected a photo of my own wedding is because I was honored to have Noah as one of my groomsmen. To sum up a little about myself, last year I married the love of my life McKenzie. Our small little family includes Kenzie and I, along with our pets Sylvester, Tweaks, and Kyari (2 cats and a dog). I’m very into sports having played basketball and golf growing up. Noah and I met freshman year of high school and were both on the golf team. As I remember it, I was among the worst players and Noah was one of the best. Our common interest in sports and decision to go to the University of Nebraska- Lincoln would just be the start of so many memories we would share to this day. After being roommates for 3 consecutive years, Noah decided we’d live in an apartment just off campus. When we were moving in, we were invited to a wine night with the two women who lived right above us- while carrying a massive couch up 2 flights of stairs. Although during college Noah typically stuck to Captain and Coke or Busch lattes.. it was destiny that he’d share a bottle of wine with his future wife. Sophia was Noah’s crush as ‘the girl next door’ and has been Noah’s better half ever since!

Groomsman

I'm honored to share in Noah and Sophia's special day. I was born and raised in Sioux Falls, SC and continue to live in Sioux Falls. I've been friends with Noah for more than half my life. I first was introduced to Noah through our late friend, Ben Longley, in 7th grade. Ever since then, I'm happy to call Noah one of my closest friends. Noah and I have been through a lot together, including spending my freshman and sophomore college years as practically roommates (he lived right next door). Noah, Ethan French, Ben Longley, and I were the four amigos from O'Gorman who attended UNL. We spent every day and every night hanging out, doing homework, watching movies, and enjoying our well earned college freedom. Some of my best memories with Noah were watching Notre Dame football games in this parents basement and our time together at UNL. I eventually transferred colleges from UNL to USD, but made it an emphasis to make it down to Lincoln, NE at least a couple of times a year to see my old "roommates", like old times. I love Noah like a brother, and am happy to support him as he begins his next chapter in life marriage. Cheers to the happy couple! P.S. If you ever need help fixing your golf swing, Noah's your guy.

Joseph Angerhofer

Groomsman

The summer of our sophomore year, when Noah was cleaning pools, and I was guarding them, we began spending more time together. Soon, the weekly question turned into what we were doing this weekend, and how were we going to convince our parents to let us over for the 10th time in a row. For the nerds, Noah Bell you were my first rocket league partner. Sophia, I know that doesn’t sound special to you, but trust me, it’s pretty important. Noah, I grew up with you and our relationship helped mold me into the man I am today. With Sophia joining you, I know you two will mold and grow with each other for the rest of your lives. Love you guys.

Jack Baker

Groomsman

Noah and I met in the 7th grade and had no idea that our friendship would be one that will last a lifetime. What started out as dumb kids that loved video games and having Ian parties became a brotherhood. We first became friends because we were on the B team in 7th grade football and we quickly found out that game was not for us. Those years sure went by fast and he is the reason I have a golf addiction now. Now that he is in Denver we don't get to see each other as often as I'd like to but when we do we never miss a beat. I am so happy for him and Sophia and their fur family and I wish them nothing but the best. He is one of if not the most stand-up guys I have ever met and I'm lucky to call him my friend.

Jimmy Burma

Groomsman

I live in Windsor Colorado with my wife, Alexis, son, Jones, and our dog Banks. I have known Noah since the third grade at Holy Spirit in Sioux Falls and have been best friends ever since. Noah and I love to drink Miller Light and Three Putt Putts together. I'm so happy for Noah and Sophia and honored to be a part of their special day. Cheers!
