Sophie and Ethan met back in their teenage years at Saugus High School. Ethan often walked Sophie to class, but at the time they were just friends. They reconnected a couple of years later after a fateful Instagram DM, and the rest is history! After dating for about a year, Sophie and Ethan rescued their dog Bambi, and have been loving dog parents to her ever since. All three of them enjoy visiting the McLaren-Cobb family in Michigan and the Lazarek family in Texas, where Bambi can run free. Bambi however, is not invited on their romantic trips to Hawaii, one of their favorite places to travel. She will also be stuck with her grandparents while Sophie and Ethan honeymoon in Europe! After 7 years of love and friendship, they are getting married!

Ethan and Sophie went on a spontaneous trip to Hawaii in Summer of 2023. They spent their days lounging on Hawaiian sand, and swimming in the warm waters. Little did Sophie know, Ethan had a ring stowed away in a pair of socks! Near the end of their trip, they got all dressed up to go out to dinner, and headed down to the beach to take a few pictures in their finest. Ethan got down on one knee on the cliffs by the ocean and asked Sophie to marry him, she of course said yes! After celebrating just the two of them for all of 5 minutes, they excitedly called their families to share the happy news.
