Absolutely! We will be hosting a Black Tie/Formal event.

What does one wear to a black tie/formal wedding?

Answer

Typically, black tie weddings require black suits with, obviously, a black tie. Floor length gowns, floor length jump suits, etc. are also standard. We are asking kindly to refrain from causal or standard cocktail attire. Since this is a winter(y) wedding, ensuring that everyone is warm and comfortable is our priority.

No. Unfortuantely, this is not a child-friendly event (18+ only). We ask to keep your kiddos at home!

I'm not staying the night, is there parking near the museum?

Answer

The most convenient parking to the museum is in the Tower Garage, 19 Norfolk Avenue, a short walk from the museum's front doors. A limited amount of free, two-hour parking is available behind the museum along Norfolk Avenue as well.

What kind of food will be served? Are there vegetarian options?

Answer

We have our selected menu listed under the Menu tab. Blue Ridge Catering is offering a variety of options for hors d'oeuvres, entrées, and desserts, which includes vegetarian options!
