John and Haley attended Saginaw Valley State University together. They first met in 2015, where John seamlessly remembered Haley's full name after a night out with friends. From 2015 to 2018, it was casual greetings, being at the same place at the same time, and buying shots for each other across the bar. They are not sure how it happened, but suddenly they were hanging out every day. They were taking late night drives, sharing music, and walking around parks together. One night, they showed up together at their friend's bonfire, and it took one person to ask them if they were dating yet. Haley froze not knowing how to answer, while John immediately responded, 'yes'. From that small bonfire to getting married!
