It all began in the UNCG Honors College. It was Elyse's 2nd night at college, and the beginning of Matt's 2nd year. Elyse happened to walk by the North Spencer Parlour, and noticed a huge group of people playing Cards Against Humanity. After some time, she walked in and noticed that there was only one spot open in the circle. That spot happened to be next to the love of her life!!! They talked and laughed the entire night, and the rest is history!

It was a beautiful Saturday at Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. Matthew had insisted that we go to the beach that day, and I could NEVER say no to a beach trip! Flash forward a few hours, we are going for a walk down to the end of the island and Elyse looks up and sees her parents, Matt's parents, and sister all standing there smiling!! The rest is a whirlwind of tears, laughter, and of course a YES!!!!!

We are set to be married exactly one year after our engagement at The Parlour at Manns Chapel located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina! We are so excited to celebrate with you all!
