Black tie optional. For our spring wedding, our ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. We suggest that men wear a tuxedo or suit and women wear an elegant cocktail or floor-length dress. Bright colors are encouraged! For those who plan on wearing stilettos, heel caps will be available for walking on the grass.
Yes! You can access our hotel block at the Homewood Suites Charleston Historic District using the following link or contacting the hotel directly and booking under the Yurick-Silverberg Wedding: https://group.homewood-suites.com/ch2xd2
If your invitation envelope states your name followed by "and Guest," then yes, you may bring someone as your plus one. If it does not, we kindly ask that it just be you in attendance.
We love your kids—we really do. However, we have decided to make this an adults-only celebration.
We ask that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. We've hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our lives, and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone/device blocking that moment for her to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want! And we promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we get them.
The ceremony starts promptly at 4:30 p.m. If you are using your own transportation, please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes prior. Shuttle services will be available for guests, departing from the Homewood Suites in Charleston's Historic District. The buses will arrive at 3:30 p.m. and will depart the hotel at 3:45 p.m. Shuttles will be available to return guests to the hotel after the reception at 10:30 p.m.
Yes! There are 40 parking spaces available at Lowndes Grove, but a shuttle service will be provide from the hotel block and shuttle times will be posted shortly.
