Bride
Born in Houston, raised in College Station. Following high school, Ellie spent 2 years doing vocational ministry both overseas and in the states with The World Race and YWAM. In 2021 she returned to College Station to go to School at Texas A&M. Ellie will graduate in May 2025 with her degree in Biomedical Sciences with hopes to further her education to be a Women's health Nurse Practitioner. After traveling around the globe, she happened to meet the love of her life right back in her hometown (but really the lore goes even further back than that), she is absolutely in love with her fiance (tyler oelze) and believes he 'makes every gloomy day full of laughter, he truly is my dearest friend.'
Tyler Oelze
Groom
Born and raised in Bryan, Texas. Tyler grew up with his 6 siblings falling in love with music and worship and what it means to steward those gifts for the Bride, the Church. Getting to lead worship alongside his family and most notably, his brother (and Best Man), Joel, has easily been one of his greatest joys and memories in life thus far. He continues to use those gifts today as he leads production and worship teams at various churches in the Bryan-College Station area. Now, he hopes that the gifts and blessings the Lord has gifted him will help him serve and love his future bride, Ellie ;)
Leah Miller
Maid of Honor
Ellie's younger sister, Leah, lives with Ellie #collegeroomies! She is a sophomore business student who is also on the ski team! More than that she carries the spiritual gift of hospitality, always valuing making people feel at home. Leah has a tender heart and zeal for adventure/no fear at all! All of the 'miller girls' are very close, specifically Ellie and Leah grew close during Ellie's last few years at home when she would constantly go into Leah's room at night for chats or performances, or to just lay on the carpet. Now as roomates, they are getting to be adult friends and Ellie thinks, "This is the absolute best! What an honor to live with my sister right before I get married! God loves me!"
Joel Oelze
Best Man
Having recently gotten married, Joel is currently a videographer and musician in College Station. When not out in the field of music or videography, Joel loves spending time with his wife, playing Monopoly Deal, watching Bluey (yes, it’s for adults too), or secretly designing the next best building (he’s an architect grad). Joel has a passion for creativity and using his gifts to bless others and glorify the Lord. It has been such an honor for Tyler to get to witness these things so closely and to even get to lead worship alongside him for so many years.
Maddie Lacambra

Ellie's older sister, Maddie, lives in Costa Mesa California with her husband, Nelson! She is a professional dancer and creative! More than that she is a celebrator of all things! Taking in the joy of life one day at a time. Ellie and Maddie grew close when, as kids, Ellie (afraid of Santa) forced Maddie to let her sleep with her on christmas eve and the rest is history! Ellie even lived near Maddie in California for a season doing ministry just to be close to her before she got married. Ellie and Maddie have a particular habit of finding fun cards and mailing them to one another on their many adventures.
Nelson Lacambra

The journey to be in this wedding party all started when Nelson fell in love with Maddie Miller (now Lacambra). Having known Tyler for almost 3 years now, Nelson has been such an encouragement and light to Tyler as they’ve spent time together at family gatherings and even on trips where Tyler has gone out to California just to see Maddie and Nelson! Nelson is a kind, witty, gifted, and selfless friend whose heart longs to see people know God and be transformed by His Spirit. He loves surfing, country music, Aggie Football, and most importantly, his wife, Maddie.
Alexa White

Alexa and Ellie met the first week of freshman year of college but didn't become friends until the end of the 1st semester, when they got coffee at pov. From that moment on they were inseparable (except when Alexa left for a YEAR to do the World Race (the same program Ellie had done 3 years prior)! After a year overseas she returned and became one of Ellie's roommates and spent the last summer (2024) in SE asia with Ellie doing ministry! Alexa is marked by zeal and excitement to walk in The Way of Jesus.
Ryan Blair

The beginning of Ryan and Tyler’s friendship all started their freshman year of college when Ryan’s friend Aiden, who Tyler had known all growing up, asked Tyler if Ryan could join them in their freshman housing together. Having not met Ryan even once, Tyler trusted Aiden’s judgment and it’s a good thing he did. Ryan is a loyal friend whose giftings lie in his intuition, his sociability, and his wisdom, especially in the scriptures. Ryan loves working with his hands, cheating in Catan, playing ultimate frisbee, a good whiskey, and spending time with his girlfriend, Kathryn. Ryan and Tyler have been living together for 4 years now and as his only current roommate, Tyler is thankful that Ryan is giving up his spot for Ellie to move in.
Anna Mundle

Anna and Ellie met at their church, Citizens, Ellie's freshman year of college and Anna's last year! They celebrated valentines day together and talked about their dreams as single ladies, that summer they both fell in love with their partners for life!! Ellie was a bridesmaid in Anna and Rohan's wedding and have stayed really close with both of them even after they moved to Houston. Ellie would describe Anna as, "emotionally intelligent and just plain FUN! I know I can bring my whole heart to Anna and it will be cared for well."
Austin Haas

Austin joined the timeline of Tyler’s life when they met leading worship together a few years ago. Several months later, Austin ended up moving in with Tyler and thus beginning a true friendship with many memories from sharing coffee recipes to favorite new worship songs, from Tyler listening to Austin’s mandatory sermons for school to leading worship alongside each other at churches, retreats, and camps, and from Sunday morning drives to tomball to their adventure in Denver Colorado this past fall. Austin is a gifted and talented leader and has been a true friend to Tyler through it all.
Sammy Rodriguez

Ellie and Sammy met through Maggies, a womens org at TAMU but didn't become close until Junior year! In this season, Ellie and Sammy seem attached at the hip, from Maggies, to church, to community group, working out and even having a class together. They both enjoy picking each others brains and hyping one another up... oh and matching pajama sets! Sammy is a faithful friend and one that you know is in your corner without a doubt. Sammy is originally from El Paso and desires to be a Family and Marriage Therapist! (She's a genius guys!! Sammy makes me a better student frfr).
Aiden Norvell

Growing up in College Station together, Aiden and Tyler’s friendship goes way back. Most notably would be their time together at church or their unrivaled love for Aggie football (unfortunately they both started paying attention when Johnny Manziel came to town, and since then, we have yet to see such a performance from the Ags. We WILL NOT LOSE HOPE THOUGH). Living together most of college, Aiden and Tyler now share an office at Christ Church where Aiden is the Director of Video Production. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, playing games, and spending time with his wife, Callie. Aiden is crazy talented, a loyal and kind friend, and simply a fun person to be around.
Anna Bearss

Anna is originally from Buena Vista, Colorado. Ellie met her in 2019 on The World Race! They were on the same team and were quick friends! Since then, they have fought to see one another at least once a year and have even done ministry in Poland + Ukraine together when the war broke out. Also, in the summer of 2023 Ellie and Tyler lived in Buena Vista and Ellie got to live with Anna's family and share a room with her! It was a full circle moment. Anna is a woman of Peace, wisdom, and loyalty! Anna is steady even when the waters rise; unwavering in truth and love. fun fact: shes the only person who watched Tyler propose to me.
Hayden Hendrick

Hayden and Tyler’s friendship goes way back as they grew up going to school and church together. Whether it was their time watching numerous hours of fort-building / survival youtube videos, jamming out together during study hall hours, leading worship together, or just being ridiculously stupid together, Hayden has been a true friend. He is kind, compassionate, hilarious, and goofy. He loves to play drums, build gardens, and plan fun date nights with his wife, Bri. He also loves to dance, so you can be rest assured that you will see him out there on the dance floor!
Leanna Buckner

Leanna is originally from Minnesota but met Ellie on The World Race where they spent 9 months together overseas doing ministry. They both also went back on staff with the same ministry for a semester where Leanna connected with her, now husband, Austin Buckner! Ellie then begged Leanna to fulfill (leanna's) dream and move to Texas! Thus Ellie and Leanna were roommates in CSTAT Ellie's freshman year. She now lives in Raleigh, NC and works with Antioch as a college minister. Ellie believes Leanna has the spiritual gift of friendship! There is truly no one like Leanna Buckner. She has the ability to connect with people who otherwise slip through the cracks and sees people through the eyes of Jesus.
Silas Bailey

Something that Tyler would definitely attribute to the providence of God would be meeting Silas his senior year of highschool at a weekend youth retreat where they were both on the worship team. Tyler and Silas quickly became friends, sharing a love for music and worship that ultimately led to Silas moving to College Station and living with Tyler and the rest of the boys. Silas is a brilliant, head-strong, extremely wise, and gifted leader and friend. He loves to learn about law and politics, sharing his thoughts with his friends and with his soon-to-be wife, Kat. He also loves leading people in worship and inviting others into the heart of God.
Grace Weaver

Grace is originally from North Carolina, but met Ellie when they did a Discipleship Training School with Circuit Riders in January 2021. They laughed and giggled all across the US getting to see the Lord move in their own nation! "Grace is actually one of the funniest people I have ever met, but also the most faithful." She contends for the people around her and even her peoples people, believing the Lord will move on our behalf. Grace also manages to be the cutest 'coastal grandma' core of anyone I've ever met. And she would never buy something that she knows she could DIY. She still lives in California as a missionary with Circuit Riders
Stephen O'Brian

Tyler met Stephen actually through Ellie when they had first started dating through a 6am prayer gathering that Ellie was hosting at her house. Although Stephen and Tyler have never lived together, Tyler considers Stephen a dear friend who constantly encourages and challenges Ty to exemplify Christ in all he does and to love others well by sharing the Gospel to those around. Stephen enjoys playing basketball, hanging with friends, encountering God through worship and prayer, and going on dates with his girlfriend, Kinley.
Lane Miller
Father of the Bride
The father of the bride, Lane, (colloquially referred to as flame/houdini/doc) is a Cardiologist and a proud Aggie '92. Ellie is, 'so proud of her dad' and 'so honored to be following his footsteps into healthcare.' Lane is an avid 42 player, dancer, singer, drummer, really anything that has to do with music or film or art! (a trait many of his daughters inherited) This was definitely a major connecting point of his and Tyler's in the early days. Look out for him tearing it up on the dance floor.
Josh Oelze
Father of the Groom
As Tyler's father, Josh Oelze had the easiest job raising his naturally well behaved and brilliant-minded son. As true as that sentence may be, truly, Tyler would not be half the man he is today without the love and support of his dad. Josh is a business owner, pastor, worship leader, and loving grandfather, father, and husband whose heart is always for family and for following the Lord whole-heartedly. In his free time, Josh likes to play the piano, read up on the newest technologies and gadgets, dream big for his family, and spend time with his wife, Kathy, as they are a few short months away from being empty-nesters!
Jennifer Miller
Mother of the Bride
Jennifer is a mother of 3 daughters and did an INCREDIBLE job raising them as women of character, dignity and to stand up for themselves. Truly a 'self-made' woman who Ellie is so honored to call her mother. Ellie sees so much of the gift of hospitality in her mom, much like Leah. Jennifer desires to host people well and make them feel at home! She goes the extra mile and has even been running her own embroidery business with a friend for the last couple of years.
Kathy Oelze
Mother of the Groom
Kathy is the mother of seven children and is continually “slaying it” out there as she has more recently taken up roles like being a grandmother and being Declaration Church’s Childrens Director. She is smart, funny, kind, and a brilliant cook, seamstress, host, worship leader, mother, grandmother, wife, you name it! She does it all! And most of all, she LOVES to dance, so you will definitely see her make many appearances on the dance floor!
Ellie Harrison

Ellie is originally from Georgia, but met Ellie M. when they did a Discipleship Training School with Circuit Riders in January 2021. They became lovingly referred to as 'the Ellie's' doing everything side by side for that season. She now lives in South Africa as a missionary with her husband Gabe! The Lord has been so kind to put us in the same season of engagement!! Unfortunately Ellie will not be able to attend on March 8th because of her commitment to South Africa, but it is a joy to have her on our team in prayer and in spirit! It has been a dream of Ellie's since she was a little girl to be in South Africa so although we will miss her on March 8th, there was never a more worthy cause! Ellie is a true evangelist - encountering people with the Love of God through the Truth of the Gospel. She is obedient and walks in the Joy of the Lord without fear!
